What is TempMail?

TempMail is a temporary email service that creates a short-lived disposable inbox in your browser. You can use the temporary email address to receive verification codes, signup confirmations, download links, trial emails or newsletter confirmations without giving every website your real personal inbox.

Temporary email is useful for one-time receiving workflows, not as a replacement for a long-term email account. TempMail.md is designed to make ordinary low-risk verification faster and cleaner while being honest about the limits of disposable email.

How does TempMail work?

When you open TempMail.md, the page prepares a temporary email address. Copy the address, paste it into the website that needs email verification, and keep the page open. New messages appear in the current inbox so you can read the code or confirmation link.

The current public inbox lifetime is one hour. Generating a new address replaces the current address, so one browser session keeps one active inbox at a time.

Why use a temporary email address?

Many websites only need to send one confirmation message. A temporary email address reduces exposure of your real inbox and can limit follow-up marketing, tracking and breach impact. For trials, downloads, one-off signups and low-risk verification codes, temp mail is often cleaner than sharing a long-term address.

That does not make temporary email right for every account. Services that need long-term control, billing notices, password recovery or sensitive records should use an email address you can keep and protect.

Is TempMail.md free? Do I need an account?

The current public TempMail.md product is free to use and does not require account registration. The page uses site cookies to connect the current browser with the current temporary inbox so the mailbox state can survive page refreshes.

Will every website accept a temp mail address?

No. Some websites block disposable email domains or require a long-term email address. TempMail.md does not promise every website will accept temporary email and does not present temporary email as suitable for every third-party service. If a site does not accept temp mail, use an email method allowed by that site.

Is it safe to read messages?

TempMail.md sanitizes message HTML before display and disables scripts and forms to reduce the risk from malicious email content. Even so, open links only when you trust the sender or are expecting the message.

When should I avoid disposable email?

Do not use disposable email for banking, medical services, work accounts, account recovery, long-term subscriptions, government services, school accounts or anything that requires continuing control of the inbox. A temporary inbox expires, and generating a new address replaces the old one.

Can I send email with TempMail?

No. TempMail.md is a receiving-only temporary email inbox for verification codes, signup confirmations and one-time messages. It is not an outgoing mail service.

Why has my temporary email not arrived?

Delivery can be delayed by the sending service, network queues or a disposable-domain block. Keep the TempMail page open, refresh the inbox, confirm you copied the current address, and use a permanent inbox when the sender requires long-term email.

What is tempmail online?

Tempmail online means using a browser-based temporary email inbox instead of installing an app. TempMail.md creates a short-lived address on the page so you can receive low-risk verification codes and one-time messages.

Is TempMail.md a tempmail app?

TempMail.md works like a lightweight tempmail app in mobile and desktop browsers. You can open the site, copy the temporary address, keep the page open and read messages without installing a separate app.

What is tempmail?

Tempmail is another way people write TempMail or temp mail: a short-lived temporary email inbox for receiving low-risk verification codes, OTP messages and one-time emails without using a personal address.

Does TempMail.md offer a public API?

TempMail.md does not currently offer a public developer API. The mailbox workflow on this site is built for ordinary web users, not for automated bulk mailbox creation or violating third-party rules.
